PostCard Project

A modern journal.

Welcome!

When I was a child my grandmother had a stack of old letters that she’d saved from her youth. I’d rifle through them, whiling away the hours entranced with the tactile sensation of aging paper and the flowery, elegant font. That began my obsession with the historical written word.

As an adult, I began stumbling over postcards at a variety of thrift and vintage stores. I was constantly fascinated at how these hastily scrawled notes somehow survived the test of time and soon I found myself in the business of collecting connections. Through my blog I hope to breathe life into those whose memories are preserved in faded ink and card stock.
